Add group

We provide you with three default groups to control what your coworkers can access in your project. However, we allow you to add more groups under Manage Users.

To start:
  • From the Control Panel, click on the Manage Users button.
  • The Manage Users window will open.
  • Click on the Add Group link at the top left.
  • Enter a name for the group. You may also add a description.
  • You may pick the users that you wish to have in this group by checking selected users from the Group's Users table.

  • After you have finished, click on the Save button to finalize adding your group.

Add User

You can invite coworkers to work on your project. By assigning them to the appropriate groups, you will have full control on what they can access in you project.
  • From the Control Panel, click on the Manage Users button.
  • The Manage Users window will open.
  • Click on the Add User link at the top left.
  • Fill in the fields under User's Information and check the groups that you want the user to belong to under User's Groups .

  • Click on the Save button to add your user.

Remove a user

To remove a user and restrict him from entering your project:

  • From the Control Panel, click on the Manage Users button.
  • The Manage Users window will open.
  • Click on the group from the left tree that the user you wish to delete belongs to.
  • A Group Management page will open on your right.



  • Under the Group's Users section, you will see all the users in that group. To remove that user from the group uncheck the box next to his/her name.
  • Continue selecting the other groups that the user may belong to and similarly uncheck him.
  • Once you have done so from all the groups that the user belongs to, the user will no longer be able to access your project in Simplify.


View or edit group information

To view information about a group in your project:
  • From the Control Panel, click on the Manage Users button.
  • The Manage Users window will open.
  • By clicking on the name of a group in the left tree, you will be able to view and edit its description and decide on which users should be under that group.


View user information

You can view your coworkers’ profile.
  • From the Control Panel, click on the Manage Users button.
  • The Manage Users window will open.
  • Click on the name of the person whose information you wish to view.
