The Control Panel
- Once a user signs in, he/she will be greeted with a control panel.
- The control panel presents the user with options to manage the website among which are Edit to edit the website pages, Manage Users to manage the users that have access to your project, Subproject to manage your subprojects, Widgets to manage the dynamic content in your website, and Hosting and Domains to buy hosting or domain services as additional services.
Changing your password
- To change your password, click on the My Password link at the top right of your control panel.
- Enter your old password.
- Enter you new password in the New Password field and confirm it in the Confirm New Password field.

- Note: Your password should be at least 6 characters.
- Click on the Save Changes button to save your changes.
View or change my account info
- To view or change your account information, click on the My Account link at the top right of your control panel.

- After modifying your account, click on the Save Changes button to save your changes.
Switching between my projects When you switch between different projects that you have added to your Simplify account, your access rights will change depending on the groups that you belong to in each of these projects. To switch:
- Go to the My Projects box at the upper right side of your control panel.
- Click on the dropdown arrow and you will see all the projects that you have access to.

- Click on the project you wish to switch to and you're there.
Adding a new project When you add a project, you are automatically recognized as its owner and you will have administrator rights to it.
- Click on the Add New Project button on the top right of your application.
- A page that contains 4 different methods of adding a new project will be presented to you as in the figure below. We will detail each method separately.
- Upload your own templates
- Upload your own website
- Suck in your online website (or any online website)
- Choose a project template
 Upload your own templates These templates could be templates that you have bought or prepared in-house. Before you upload, make sure that the templates are prepared with Dreamweaver or have the Kyube tags incorporated in them. For detailed instructions on how to use Kyube tags, please refer to Appendix A. To upload your template(s):
- Zip your template(s) along with the auxiliary files that it uses. These could include CSS, images, and other files.
- Enter a name for the project you are creating.
- Click on the click here link and browse for your zipped folder. See the image below.

- Click on the Upload button to upload your file into the system. Remember this may take a moment or two.
- Click on Continue after the upload is done. This will extract your files and make sure they have the correct extensions.
- You will then be redirected to a page where you will be offered a URL where you can publish your website.
- Fill in what you would like your URL to be and click on the Continue button.
- You will be redirected to the control panel of your new project.
- To edit this project, simply click on the Edit button.
- Your website will have no pages at this point. For more information on how to create pages out of your templates, click here.
Upload your own website If you have created your own website and wish to upload it into Simplify to be able to gain control over its content and expand it, you can follow the below steps. Note that your pages should be html or htm and they should have been created out of a Dreamweaver template or a template that uses Kyube tags. For more information about how to prepare templates with Kyube tags, go to Appendix A.
- Zip your website pages along with the auxiliary files that the pages use. These could include CSS, images, and other files.
- Enter a name for the project you are creating.
- Click on the click here link and browse for your zipped folder. See the image below.

- Click on the Upload button to upload your file into the system. Remember this may take a moment or two.
- Click on Continue after the upload is done. This will extract your files and make sure they have the correct extensions.
- You will then be redirected to a page where you will be offered a URL where you can publish your website.
- Fill in what you would like your URL to be and click on the Continue button.
- You will be redirected to the control panel of your new project.
- To edit this project, simply click on the Edit button. For more information on how to edit the pages of your website, click here.
Suck in your online website If you already have a website online and you know its URL, you can simply type in the URL and the system will retrieve in a copy of your website. If you retrieve a URL of a website that is not yours make sure that it is not copyrighted.
To start:
- Enter your URL in the URL field and click on the Continue button as shown in the figures below.
 
- You will then be redirected to a page where you will be offered a URL where you can publish your website.
- Fill in what you would like your URL to be and click on the Continue button.
- Don’t forget to check the box that confirms that you are not infringing copyright laws. Check the figure below.

- You will be redirected to the control panel of your new project.
- To edit this project, simply click on the Edit button. For more information on how to edit the pages of your website, click here.
Choose a project template The last method of adding a new project is the most interesting one as you are presented with hundreds of project templates to choose from. A project template is a website that includes design, multiple pages, linkage (menus) and its dynamic functionalities. This is ideal if you are just starting an online presence and you want to use our free designs. Simply pick the template that corresponds to your business or personal needs and your website will be ready in minutes. All you have to do is add content and start expanding your project. To start
- Click on the different categories on the left to see the different designs and click on the Next link at the bottom of the templates listing to see even more templates in each category.

- Click on the Preview link under each template to open the pages in the website and view the design up close. This will allow you to make better judgment before you commit to a template.
- Select the template that you like by selecting the radio box under that project template.
- Click on Continue.
- You will then be redirected to a page where you will be offered a URL where you can publish your website.
- Fill in what you would like your URL to be and click on the Continue button.
- You will be redirected to the control panel of your new project.
- To edit this project, simply click on the Edit button.
