Installing your Website
You can run your website from any host you choose. However if you would like to explore the power and ease of allowing your clients to manage their own content, upload your website on SimplifyEdit and make use of its content management system. 1. Upload After finalizing the content of your website, follow the steps below to create a zip folder and upload it on simplify.
Note that the zip file needs to be created from inside the folder and not outside it. ![]() ![]() 2. Test Once the website is created, you have to go into the page to check that the templates and pages have been properly set up. Open the “FILE MANAGER” tab, and click on “Pages”. Choose “Edit” for each of the pages. When the page opens, you should be able to see the design of your page with green and yellow borders around regions as you have defined them. The green border is for normal regions, and the yellow border is for shared regions as shown in the image below. To edit a region, hover over it with your mouse, it should become shaded with green. Click on the shaded region and it is now ready to be edited.
